Question Question for Louisiana members...

I'm getting a Pioneer AVIC-F700BT for my Z soon.

I was thinking about getting it installed at Ricky Smith Audio on Airline Highway in Baton Rouge. I work on Siegen Ln. so it's pretty close.

Does anyone know if this is a reputable place? Welcome to suggestions for other installers in the BR area too.

If you want I'll talk to thumpboarder to see if he'd install it for you. He used to work at Best Buy but he's installed plenty of HUs.

Personally I don't trust shops but I know Chris so

Yea, I'd rather have someone I know has experience working on my car than a shop with who knows. I've heard some horror stories about buisnesses messing up on instillations. Plus, I like watching so that would be a plus.

I installed a AVIC- D3 on my last car but I really don't want to f-up my new Z.
just cost too much I guess.

Chris has the Z3 in his Z. Although I try to do most of my own work, he's someone I'd trust to work on my Z.

Send a PM to thumpboarder if you want to set something up. He sent me a text this morning saying he'd do it.

i can do the install. I'm a master at running speaker wires through doors in the Z. Just don't expect the windows to roll down and the doors to lock anymore..

but hey.. it will sound good in the end.
