I posted yesterday about how im having horrible squeeking noises at only low speeds with the brakes in 80% from the rear. I installed HPS pads in the back 2 weeks ago and still have this problem. I used the bedding procedure on the box and still i am having this HORRIBLE and EMBARASSING squeek, loud as shlt. I never had this problem with the oem pads in the rear. I have brembos and the fronts have HPS pads in them and they are quiet as can be. A week ago my friend and I sprayed "disc brake quiet" on the back of the pad to try to stop the noise, but to no avail. IF ANYONE IN THE ATL area is familiar with this problem and have the same pads, would u be willing to help me out and try to fix the prob...someone once mentioned that the pads may need to be trimmed??i dunno......but i am so close to putting oem pads back in

 

I changed out the oem brake pads for the HPS pads and no problems. But what I did was take the fiber/plasric backing off the oem pads and put them on the HPS pads for both front & rears. And I used that anti-squal stuff as well!

i used the OEM shim as well, and sprayed "disc brake quiet" on the backside of the pad like instructed and still have that god awful annoying noise....

 

I have the same set-up and from day one there has been no issues with these pads making a squealing noise!

I would talk to a brake specialist!
