bump i know there has got to be more members of this board from NC

 

I'll bet a lot don't frequent the Southeast forum... many stay in the niche forums like Race/AutoX, or cleaning detailing... stuff like that

 

I cant wait until the meet in Feb., where are you guys going karting at? I have two other friends with Z's that are not on this forum but want to come and join, is it cool if they come? My Z almost didn't make it home last night I did something real dumb and drove from a bar back home after throwing back a couple Got to a light and my buddy that drives a modified Eclipse wanted to play and took off, off course feeling invincible I turned off the vdc and took off, I burned rubber through most of the gears and passed him sideways doing about 80mph only problem was that there was a cop right there waiting, lucky for me I was going to fast for him to catch up and turned into my community right up the road and went into stealth mode. My buddy wasn't so luck and tried to take the same sharp curve I did and lost it, plowed into the curb messing up his bumper, cops gave up on me but swarmed him and gave him a reckless driving ticket. Thank god he wasn't drunk, I would have prob. gone to jail and had the thing I love the most towed away My buddy lied for me and said he was racing a silver RX-7 so they radioed some more cops to be on the lookout for it I really regret what happend and feel like an idiot so what im trying to say to all you guys is to be careful and don't drink and Z b/c it could end up being your last ride!

I'm always gone when we decide to go karting.... grrr. You guys have fun though. I'll be at the driveline shop next month if Randy will organize it on a Thur. evening, a Friday or on a weekend..... Just need to be sure he does that and I'll be set. Course I'll have to arrange for the Z to be mobile too....

I didn't realize G35 owners were welcome at Z club meets. I have some friends in Charlotte I haven't seen in a while maybe I'll come over that wkend and swing by the meet too.

Anthony, we just voted on it at the last meeting. It's for two door coupes only, "to keep the sports car image".

There has been a change in plans to the meeting location. I got an email this morning saying there was a scheduling conflict with Victory Lane Carting. It seems we will still have a meeting on that day, (not sure where yet), and go carting later in the month.
