Speed shops in Southeast Georgia area
I need help on different shops around the Southeast Georgia area that can continue my modification to my Z. I currently use a shop in Atlanta - they do a great job - just want to find one closer to home. Getting tired of the 3-3.5 hour drive each way.
Thanks
Thanks

Any in Jacksonville or Tallahasse? How about someone that can do corner weights?

MoodDude,
Is this Mike? Guess who this is.... There is a shop in Thomasville that has a dyno I just heard of. They bought a lot of Lingenfelter's Vette stuff from FL. It's a dyno close by, and they more than likely do cornerweighting. I can get a name for you.

Are you going to the AutoX in Cecil next week? I am staying in town next weekend and am 90% sure I am going. If you are - give me a call.

Well - Jeff Gordon helped me out with the Corner weights. He has got about 3 NASCAR's in his shop (this is not the same Jeff as races NASCAR) that he races in a series just under Nascar.
Got my corner weights to a perfect 50%! Got my left and right perfect to 50%! Got my Front to back to 55% since I took out my spare tire and jack and installed my TT up front. Looks like I need to move the battery to the rear! Now I understand why I was understeering in left turns and oversteering in right turns - my corner weights where way off (44%)!!

Tein coilovers are a good starting point, yet there adjustment for ride hieght/spring pre-load is too coarse. But, I think for the money there is nothing better.
He loaned me a pyrometer for this weekend so I can tune everything on my car. If you want to help, we can do your car too. There is no better information about your cars handling than tire temps!! It will tell you how to set up pressure to run the tires, toe, camber, braking, sways, and coilovers. I will use the info at the track to set tire pressure and damping. Then after the race to set camber, toe and sways.
He may show up at the AutoX this weekend and drive my car (I will drive it too) if he is not testing a new car on the oval track.
Give me a call and we can drive down together.

Road Atlanta is on March 18-19. I've already reserved my spot. I'm trying to decide whether to keep the used R3S04's I have or get new tires for the event.
I can't make the event this weekend, the wife and I are out of town. But, I'd like to see the new setup you have.

Jeff Gordon @ Line-X is going to show me how to set the camber and toe and what equipment to buy. Then I will buy my own so I can do it at the track.
I installed a 4 point harness that Jeff gave me. Going to try it out at the Auto X.
I am in town this week so give me a call if you want to meet up.
