where do i begin...
hi my name is jenn. i just recently moved down to tampa about 2 months ago from northern virginia.
and i cant tell you how many times ive run into someone with a beautiful z on the road. a girl driving a HOT PINK 350 with CF hood in brandon. and just today, getting on to (I4) from (275) a silver z with red side decals. nice driving by the way.
ive been in and out of the car scene up north. know people in the 350z club as well. and i guess im just woundering what its like down here. at the moment im coasting in a blue wrx with gold rims. and im sure theres a few who have seen me.
just wanted to introduce myself into the tampa area and curious on what the scene is like down here.
i would love to meet some new people. get a clue of what the area down here is like. and hopefully find some connects.

Tampa has an interesting car scene... there are always a few meets on saturday nights to go to. There's a nissan meet out in front of best buy on dale mabry that XAT Racing endorses (I'm still going to have to check it out), and another weekly dyno night at another shop around here somewhere. Or, if you're intersted in the more shady sort of activities, there's always causeway on saturday night to watch some interesting races...
There's also an active club in the area, but I guess it really depends on what you're looking for in activities...

Hey there Jenn, welcome to Tampa! 
Taurran gave you some good information. If you want to get into the scene a little bit and meet people a place to start is Sonics on Hillsborough. It does get crazy there though and you have to weed through the ricers to find the cool ppl so unless you're into that kind of thing I wouldn't make it a habit of going.

Anyway, you're right, it's been nothing but ricers for the past year and a half or so. I feel kind of like a dirty old man hanging out with the high school crowd if I go there.

I did a very quick drive by Saturday night and it was still going on.
You should feel like a dirty old man if you go there
I may check out that SSP thing they have on Sat. nights now, that may be a good alternative.

I am down in Brandon visiting family, we went to Channelside yesterday and I saw that pink Z...wow that is a crazy color!
I wish we would have driven down the Z, instead we drove our G35 sedan(needed the room). Have fun in te Tampa area, seems like alot going on down here.

My bad, you're right it is a brickyard. I'm way jealous too, I see it on the way home all the time and it is always soo clean. It really makes me wanna paint my headlights black but im still not sure if it would match well on my ppw.
