Hey guys just a feeler as to interest in going to Roebling road raceway for a track day ? http://www.roeblingroad.com/schedule.html
That's a great track. You can really get up into some high speeds there. I probably won't be down for any serious track runs until I get me another daily driver about Feb., along with some other goodies to come. Then it's on.

ill look into it guys and get a idea of how much it will be. Lodging down there isnt too expensive around $40-$70/night about 25 miles away from the track. Havent looked into it too close yet just wanted to gauge some interest.

Yeah... where were all you guys over the last 5 years? we've had a nice date there around Father's Day weekend, but couldn't get enough people to rationalize keeping it
It is a fun track (though not all THAT challenging). Just watch out for that braking zone in T1, and the dirt berm by the woods

well i havent ever been out there but from what i understand there is almost no banking like talladega so it really comes down to mechanical grip and aero if you have it. Ill be down there looking into it in a few weeks ill keep you guys updated.
We have been down there quite a few times. It is mostly a momentum track with broad sweepers and a decent technical section. What it does have is a great rhythm to it. Once you have that, the track is a blast to run. A few items to keep in mind on it though:
1) If you are too hot or loose grip in the high speed turn of turn 9, go ahead and just drive it off on the left. DO NOT try to save it, and there is plenty of room out there once you are off on the correct side.
2) Turn 1 is quicker than it looks, but there is braking. Make sure that you are set up well for 2 though afterwards.
3) Turns 3,4,5,6, and 7 are all related closely, so take 3 correctly. You have lots of track out on 4, but I find it better not to use it and stay to mid track.
4) There are several lines in 5-6. You just need to feel it out which is best for you and your car.
5) 7 and 8 are off camber, so watch that.
