Default Almost got blown away!

So I'm sitting at home last night, exhausted from work and sipping a red label, and the news tells me there's a tornado warning in Buckhead. I'm in downtown so a few miles south, and the weather is showing threats of violence but nothing more than lightening. Then the rain comes, kinda heavy but I've seen much worse very frequently. Then the power starts flashing on and off, my burgaler alarm sounds for a few seconds, and my 60lb. lab jumps into my lap . Now the power is on but the TV is off, and I hear a VERY LOW flying jumbo jet . Only it wasn't a jumbo jet. It lasted maybe 15 or 20 seconds and then... nothing. Dead still night air. Then the sirens and the news... Pretty crazy I've never been that close to a tornado!

Eek! Tornadoes freak me out. They are VERY prevalent around here.
Nothing like being pummeled by a large canine.

So you're saying that your G35 is ok?

Not anymore!

I just had my second close encounter with a twister in less than 24 hours... This one brought with it golf ball sized or better hail. I haven't worked up the courage to thoroughly inspect my car but I've already found 4 or 5 dents. And being as this is my first nice car with full coverage... I don't know what to do... I'm a little overwhelmed.. I'm a warehoue supervisor and my people were pretty freaked. I'm just pissed and sad and a little scared about my car...

As long as she's alright, the car can be replaced.

Well I'm meeting with the adjuster on Wednesday at a body shop in Buckhead. Here's what the damage looks like:

2-3 dents on the front driver 1/4 panel
1 on the driver door
3-4 on the rear driver 1/4 panel
4-5 on the hood
10 or so on the roof
1-2 on the deck lid
Cracked passenger side mirror

I'll try to post some pics later tonight...

BTW I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on a reputable body shop/dent remover in metro ATL. I'm from closer to Chat. so I have no clue. If anyone has actually had hail damage repaired in ATL any advice would be much appreciated.

So sorry. I had one time $7500 worth of damage way back (10 years or so) on my 3 month old civic due to hail. Took them a month to fix.

Good thing all of it wasn't to bad. Pretty much easy money. Wait till the storms roll around in the summer. Prime season.
