Hey guys. I have a boosted 350z and has few mods done to it, which makes it not emission. I am in ATL and dont know how I can get a tag with a car with failed emission. Is there any alternate ways for this problem?

 

do as i did and have it registered in a county with no emissions testing... do you have a relative in another county who will let you use their address?

also, do you and your cousin share the same screen name? or did *you* buy the Z? c'mon, tell the truth...

 

I will do as I say...I have a relative in greensboro, GA. Thats putname county and they dont have emission. Do I need to get address change on the license in order to prove I live there?

And yea me(vasim) and my cousin (jay) both share the same sn. I guess I am just too lazy to open another account!..haha

Btw..Vasim owns the Ten to Four's Z...Jay is still lookin to get one

 

you will have to have a piece of mail or something showing that adress, i dont think that your liscense matters.. I moved and had to show a bill that i was recieving at the new address..

 

nope, just as urban says, have something sent there in your name... change some random bill and have it delivered there... i didn't have to do this as i know one of the people in the tag office in the town that i'm from and they just used my pop's address...

 

Does it really matter if your not throwing any codes? They wont put you on a dyno since we are OBD2. As long as you dont have any codes I would think your OK.

 

Thanks for the advice...I might just call one of the company to send a bill to that address. Hopefully that should work.

Hey Do you guys think if I open a credit card and give my relative address will work.

 

possibly... i would check with the tag office in that county and ask them what they require to register a vehicle...

Yea..It sucks!...I am just going to open a credit card and see if that works. Hopefully it does, we'll see.
