Default Get Together/Short Cruise Co. Spring?

Was wondering if anyone is interested in getting together next/this coming Saturday (14th)? Really would like to meet some other Z owners.

Sorry, but I'm not sure if next Saturday will be a popular date for a drive. The Broncos are hosting a playoff game that day and we do have a few football fans in this Z group...

Are we getting together this Saturday? If so was thinking of heading to Bishop's Castle: http://www.moosh.net/mark/castle/
Looks like a nice drive.

Thier are several ways they show to get there. I was taking The Scenic Route, from Colorado Springs, is to take Hwy. 115 south to Florence, turn left at the first traffic light onto Hwy. 67, turn right onto Hwy 96 in Wetmore and at the next junction you will see signs for the BishopCastle. Turn left there onto Hwy. 165 and it's 12 miles.
Was thinking of meeting up at the World Arena (WA) in Colorado Springs. Its right off of 25 and Circle. I can give direction to the WA if needed.Let me know asap if you're going to attend.

It turns on I'm getting my parts back this saturday later than intended because it's the only time I'm free to pick them up and get them installed. What's your cell number Robert in case plans changed. Because it's possible I may get them installed by Friday... Pm me

I honestly don't think anyone is going to show up. I hope I'm wrong. I understand how this is a long drive for you. Let me know.

Whoo-hooo!!! Got two ppl interested. I was thinking of meeting at the World Arena at 12pm. Figure leave at the lastest 12:30. Should be perfect timing with the most sun and the warmer temps.

Default Maybe...

I might be up for a drive, but Bishops Castle may be a little tricky this time of year. I would expect wet roads and snow, or at the very least dirty roads. It's a fun drive but the elevation change makes a big difference in the road conditions.

I just got my Z back from the dealer last week. They had it for about 5 weeks while they changed engines like playing musical chairs. So, I'm inclined to take it easy for the first few hundred miles on this new (3rd) engine.

I'll keep an eye on the forum this week and see what develops.

Understand taking it easy on the new engine. I don't plan on going ***** to the wall as the wife it coming with. More-or-less just a nice cruise. Also I had a buddy go there last weekend with his wife's S2k w/o any problems. This could be just what you need to put some miles on the new engine.

That eases my mind a bit - knowing that someone has scouted out the route recently. Put me down as a strong MAYBE. I'll chat with my GF later to see if she would like to go as well...

Any consideration for making the drive on Sunday? Although I'm not a Bronco fan and would be willing to do an event while missing a game, I work at Invesco and thus will be at the game Saturday. Monday should also be a consideration as it's a holiday, MLK Jr.

I think I'm set on Saturday. I understand the Broncos are playing but I'm not a NFL fan. As for Sunday I have friends visiting from out of town. And, though Monday is MLK Day some people still have to work, ie: I would be but taking a day off to relax with the wife.
Not trying to be an as$.
