Default Colorado Minor Mod and Maintenance Meet???

At the McCool's meet there was some talk about getting together to do some minor cosmetic mods and detailing as a group. I was hoping we could turn that talk into a date to actually do it. I want to install some "Concept Front L.E.D reflectors" but to lazy, and I really don't know what I am doing......

On that subject, what color should I get? Amber L.E.Ds with black housing, or amber L.E.Ds with silver housing?? What would look better on SuperBlack??

That's a tough one. That silver is close to satin, so would accentuate the look of the door handles and go well with SB. On the other hand, the black housing is of course great for a stealth look on SB. You won't lose either way.

Good luck on the install. The passenger side is a pain in the a$$ to wire up and it is especially hard if you have large hands. The silver ones match up real nice on a silver z. Since your Z is black, I would go with the black ones.

Hey DevildogCO1,

If you have any question about what you need and how, pm me and I will try to answer them. It has been about two years since I install my.

If you are willing to host, then it is your choice on date and time. When ever it is good for you.....

The installation of the clear reflectors should be easy. Just jack up the car and remove panels to gain access to the reflectors. Put on just clear reflectors is an easy install. The installation on the LED is different. EVO-R does not give you enough wire and access to the power wire for run light and turn light is limited on the passenger side.

Actually, my CCs with LEDs should be arriving shortly as well and I've been reading up on install tips. Shouldn't be too bad. I am certainly up for a little get together for the install. Keep us posted.

I haven't ordered mine yet, because I am still up in the air on the color. Black would blend well, but might look odd when they are not on (during the day) and silver would match the door handle, but would stick out like a sore thumb......
