Default Colorado Z Meet 3/8.......Any Interest?

Thought I'd put together a formal post about a possible meet this weekend. I know it is short notice, but I hear the weather is supposed to be nice. So I wanted to see if anyone has any interest of getting together Saturday for a drive somewhere and perhaps a stop for some food & beverages.

Shogun and I have expressed an interest, and I thought I'd see if anyone else would like to as well. I don't care where we meet or go at all, I just wanna drive the Z (it only has about 70 miles my friends, it needs some miles) and I wanna just see some more Z's and shoot the **** with everyone.

So here are my ideas, feel free to post you're own or ammend mine as I am completely open to about anything Just don't really wanna go to far into the mountains for obvious reasons.

Meet @ Noon Sat. @............well ****, I can't think of a great place. Maybe whoever is interested could suggest a place. I thought maybe we could drive up towards Boulder, then into Longmont and whereever else, back down to Denver. Notice how I have made this plenty long of a drive for Bob, seeing is how we might end up in the north side of town again. Maybe as an option #2, we could all just drive down to Bob's house, since it is a drive in itself jk

Anyway.........Enough of my rambling, any interest or suggestions? Please post your feedback and hopefully we will get something set.

Brian

Mudd,

Congrats on getting your car.....finally.

Sure would like to join all of you for a drive this weekend, but Sat. is out for me. Our motorcycle club has our monthly ride planned for that day.

If things don't work out for Sat. maybe something for sunday?

It looks like the weather should be great for you to get the nubs worn off of those tires.

I hope you have a great time.

I'd like to get together this weekend, but I'll be out of town. I hope you have a good meet, though.

Sorry guys. I'll be spending my time packing and prepping for my California trip the following weekend. Not much time during the (always) busy work week. If I don't get it DONE, sure as shootin' I'll forget something for either the trip or the track!

Have a great time though!

So anyone else?...........Sat or Sun?.........Go ahead and leave your suggestions, we get something nailed out.

Default Mountains

And to all a good day.

D, how long does it take to pack?
J, you'll go anywhere--right!

OK, it appears we have a perfect weather situation Saturday and Sunday and there's no snow expected in the mountains. So, how about venturing west to Georgetown, Idaho Springs, Keystone, Cooper Mountain or Breckenridge? I70 will be clear, not sure of the local roads though.

Brian needs miles...Leave your ski's at home and kick it west for a nice lunch in the mountains. Or Not!

Boulder or Longmont is cool for me, how about lunch at one of the cool places in downtown Niwot.

BTW, I just happen to have a few of the new Spring 2003 issue I can pass out to the highest bidders.

D, how long does it take to pack? mura, mura, mura...

Wherever, whenever unless D needs help packing.

I am up for a drive either day as I said before.

I say we meet Sat. @ noon at my work. It is right off I-25 & I-70. From there we can go either west or north or ......hell we are so cental we go go anywhere.

If that doesn't work, lets try Sunday same time, same place.

Directions:
I work for Fitness Gallery, look for the big red sign, or various other fitness related signage. If you take I-25 north until the 58th. Ave. exit, go east till very first right and go south. When that street dead ends go right, that road will go west and then curve and continue south, go 3/4 mile.it's on the left hand side, about 1/4 mile south of the Grizzely Rose bar if u know where that is. We sit right on the I-25 frontage road, you can see us from the freeway. You absolutely can't miss the big signs.

I may not be online again tomorrow, so if you all decide to do this or you need directions to the meeting spot please call me. My cell # is 303-949-7210. I have plans to rise early to wash my car and won't be around a computer, so i hope someone will call me to let me know what's up. If I can, I will check this post again, but no promises.

Brian,

I will swing by your place of business at noon for a little drive. I'll have to bug out after about an hour to get back to the office, but an hour of driving is better than nothing.

Anyone else in?

See ya at 12:00.

Default Sunday @ Noon @ Fitness Gallery

Just got off the phone with Brian and lack of response to his phone this morning, we decided that Sunday might be better to get more people involved.

Buffman, Brian is sorry he couldn't meet you time wise and no access to the net this morning to see your post. Hope to see (meet) you tomorrow.

The actual address of the Fitness Gallery is 5220 N. Broadway. It serves as the service road on the east side of I-25 between I-70 and 58th Ave. Tough to miss if blowing by from the south to 58th Ave.

Regarding where our drive will take us, will be open to discussion once we get there. If you plan on coming, please post so we know who to expect.

Unhappily, I might not be able to attend because of an idiot light informing me to "service engine soon". If I can remedy this problem this afternoon or get reassurance that I can drive it without worries, I'll be there. 8800 miles and three oil changes including the 7500 service has me slightly concerned.

Default Publisher is in the house

Unless something goofy happens, I'll be there.

BTW Joe, I've had that engine warning problem twice. Both times, it was nothing but it's always better to play it safe and have a Nissan tech check it out.

Tomorrow...

Default Light's out!!

Stopped by Tynan's to see if I'd get lucky to find someone I knew doing side work in the service dept. which is closed on the weekends.

Got hooked up to the handheld device and it said that the problem was an evaporation code linking to the gascap. On Rob's suggestion I had already checked the cap and found nothing askew.?? The tech said "it happens".

Anyway, the car is cleaned up for now and I'm there tomorrow.

Unless I'm with Bob.

Default Tunesman is in the house.

Mudd, CD's cool. They better be good and you better be able to handle about 145db [about the threshold of pain and bleeding ears].

BTW, Shogun, one of my ECU bogus check engine warning was the same as your's.

See yah,
