Default ACT Prolite flywheel going in!

I got a Act Prolite flywheel last fri.
I thought tonight sounds like a good time to put it in.
Man the Act is so lite vs. the stock one.
I could have gotten the whole job done but I need the alignment tool!!
I grab one tomorrow. I hope I can tell a difference with the 14 or so lbs, shed!

Nice! Any idea what the total weight of the ACT flywheel/clutch/pressure plate is? Throttle response will really change the feel of your car- although I can only imagine what that will feel like when your FI beast spools up! LOL

Damn, if your throttle response was any better, you would bend time/space as we know it. I guess the Apex-jet does look a bit like the Delorean in Back to the Future!

Dude, If you had 50K and 2 full months of free time you couldn't "catch up"
I would be eating top ramen 3 times a day if I even tried to keep up!

I have 5 weeks of vacation, my bonus, and tax refund coming up...that's about 1.25 months and 40k. But it's not for the car.

Not that I really car if my car sound "wicked mean" (theft from Shannon), but are they really that different sounding? engaging/disengaging or just spining in gerneral?

I think he means the "rattle" you get at idle when you push the clutch pedal in, and about 1500-2000rpm range. Mine does both of the aformentioned.

Iv noticed that to many are "looking" for noises. What I consider normal, others panic over.

Brake "squeeks", Clutch "rattles", Dash "vibes", Transmision "growls"-------Listen for problems,Yes, But dont over anylize things to the point u dont have fun driving ur car.

Iv seen to often here, where whats normal and can be cured by changing Shift Habits, Braking Habits, and just not sweating the small stuff has turned into a epidemic.
