"Super Roll I"' is an event sponsored by Garcia Infiniti and Nissan Sport magazine. No cost for admission to Sandia Motorsports Park and instruction! Planning on having novice, intermediate and advanced groups with structured run sessions on both Saturday and Sunday. Those who've attended any of the track days or Nissan Sport HPDC over the past few years will recognize the format.

Expect to see some great automotive-related exhibits, raffles, food and other activities at the Super Roll. More details available at: nissansportmag.com.

 

Well, my plans for being in CA that weekend fell through so I might make this event.

I'm definately interested now. David, are you driving down? If so, when and what hotel will you be staying at?

 

I'll be driving down Friday morning (5/18) to do the initial setup at the track. Current plan is to stay at the home of the Nissan Sport Managing Editor and his wife. But as far as a hotel, I'd suggest looking for one on the west end of Alburquerque. The track is located a few miles south of I-40.

I'd be more than happy to have some company on the way down! Let me know and I'll add you and Sean to the confirmed list and send you the syllabus.

Hmmm... I think I'll go. Stay with the in-laws and have some free track time. Man, I just need decent tires. These all-seasons got me around great this winter, but I wish I still had some tread left on the AO32R's for track days.

Dayum! If it was one week later, I would go. But currently, we are having a big exercise here, that requires me to work 12 hour days, 7 days a week, and ends on the 20th!

Oh well.

Hope everyone else that posted can make it too.

I'll have to leave Denver after work on Friday. I'm hoping that leaves enough time to make it there at a reasonable time. I'm thinking that my tires and track brake pads have at least two track days left in them, so this will be perfect. I just hope that there will be enough tire to get me home. I'll plan on changing pads to the normals on Sunday.

Wish I could make this one, but I've got a conflict that weekend that I can't change. Thanks to David, Garcia Infiniti and Nissan Sport for putting this together, though. Free track time is something that just doesn't happen anymore.

For anyone that's interested, let's have a little Z caravan going down to ABQ on Friday, 5/18. Probably leave Denver about 9-10 am and have a relaxed drive with breaks/lunch before we get to the track. Sorry that Dave90TT, GaryM05, Robert K and others in the Colorado crew can't make this one, we'll have some pics and stories to bring back! If this year is successful, Nissan Sport and Garcia Infiniti hope to make the Super Roll more of an annual event!
