At the meeting last week, Bob said there was a diner right off the highway at the exit to Byers. I have not been there, but might be good to take in a little of the local "ambiance". We could meet before or after walking the site depending on the time of day.

 

Sound exactly like what I had in mind. Let's plan on stopping by for some grub either before or after, depending on how early everyone wants to do this.

Keep the 4th in mind as well. I emailed Bob and let him know of the possible dates. He is available for the 3rd so far. Waiting to hear back about the 4th. If he can't make the 4th then I would be more than happy to lead the tour.

 

Like I said, I'm down with the 4th, but I wouldn't want someone to run a tour just for me.

What I mean to say is that if more people can make it on the 4th, I can lead the tour if Bob isn't able to make it.

Still waiting for his reply about the 4th. Maybe others who are in for the 3rd can look into the 4th instead of the 3rd. Just so we can get more people for better exposure.

 

Bob has a group set up for the 3rd, so if you want to go with him everyone is welcome. If you wanted to postpone till the 4th for those that can't make it on the 3rd, I can lead that tour.
