Hey guys,

My car (04 with 44k) is throwing a p2135 code and I am planning on having it looked at tomorrow. Which is the best service department to deal with? I have searched and found that Scottsdale seems to be the best?

I wouldn't count on it. Most dealers will charge a diagnostic fee and if it turns out to be a manufacturing defect, they'll make the entire bill a warranty claim. But if it's something else that caused the CEL, get ready to pony up for the full repair.

Cosidering it quite often results in the throttle position sensor being replaced I would try calling the dealership. Hopefully it will be covered (unsure as I do not have a list of all dealer covered items for the 60k warranty). Call them and tell them the code and ask if the TPS is covered.

Good luck

I would avoid Power Nissan in the Tempe Autoplex at all costs!
