Another Arizona G/Z meet and drive - Jan 10
This one isn't really coming together like the Sedona one but here is what we have so far. Meet at 10am - Target on Shea about a mile west of the Beeline Highway. From there I don't think we have a specific route yet, but we will likely head out east somewhere.
I will be leaving Tucson around 8 am, so if you are from S. Arizona and you want to caravan up there let me know.
I realize this is short notice, but if you can make it please come. The last meet we had was a good time.

Latest details I received in my email from Curtis:
I did a pre-run of a couple of suggested routes this weekend.
Here is what I did... I am not dead set on this but would be a good run if any bad weather. Overall, it was a "fast" 2 lane highway with long curves. Nothing real tight like the last run. For those that want to try and really run, this route does have potential.
Most of this route came from Ryan....Thank You for the suggestion.
Starting from Target on Shea, about a mile east of Beeline (Arizona Higheay 87) I headed north on the Beeline to Bush highway. I took Bush Highway through the curves and by Saguaro Lake and the salt river to Ellsworth (It has another name at this intersection but do not have my notes with me). I
made a left and took this all the way to the 60.
I then took the 60 to the rest stop in Superior. This would potential be a good stopping point to give everyone a chance to stretch and attend to any other needs. From here I took 177 south towards the mine. Very few cars on his section with good views of the mine. When I reached the 77 I headed back north towards Globe via the 70.
I looked around in Globe a little bit for places to eat but have not tried anything. It sounds like Jordan had a good idea below, Guayo's Mexican. That sounds good to me. Again, this is what I pre-ran but agree that there are still several other good choices.. The route below or even going straight to Globe and then towards Snake Canyon. Or we could still go towards Payson and Strawberry if we have exceptional weather.
Here is the definite:
Depart time: 10am Saturday, January 10th.
Arrive around 9:30 to meet everyone.
Target on Shea 1 mile east of the Beeline Highway (87).
address: 16825 East Shea Blvd. SW corner of Shea and Saguaro.

As it turns out, I wasn't able to make it either. I am stuck at work all weekend.
Hopefully next time I can let everyone know sooner so you can work with your schedules. Later,
Nathan
