Winter beater?
Anyone know of a low-cost, reliable vehicle for sale?
I'm looking for something I can drive when there is snow on the ground, and to keep some miles off of the Z. Replacing 18" performance tires every 15-20k miles gets expensive.
I've looked around on autotrader and cars.com, but haven't really found anything too enticing yet.
Let me know if you have any suggestions.
Thanks.

Matt-
I've got a '95 200SX Se-R Showroom stock racer that I use for my winter beater. It's got a few dents, but remains a pretty decent and safe car (especially with the roll cage, race seat, harness. etc). This SR20DE-powered front driver can easily get up and down the mountains with the Goodyear Ice Grip tires I have mounted on a separate set of wheels. The entire set of tires cost little more than ONE high-performance winter tire for the Z!
I see these cars in the paper from time-to-time for around $3.5- 5K, depending on mileage and condition.

Matt-
A friend of my sister has an 89' Honda Accord that I think is in excellent condition as the few times I've seen it, it is always clean and looks great. The only issue I think there might be with the car is the driver's seat. Gail is not petite. It's an automatic, red in color with the pop-up headlamps. Right around 90k miles for I think around $3K. As far as maintenence on the vehicle goes, I'm sure it has been maintained very well as she is retired and retentive.
PM me if you have any interest. The car is in Aurora near Leetsdale and Mississippi.
