Default Socal Rain kicking Z's ****

Damn this rain when will it stop and how much longer. The drive with my Z is just horendous. Every turn I make is into a sea of water where I live. I'm scared of driving into a deep puddle and it seeps in my car. Jon I hope you dont hydrolock your car with that intake tube of yours.....Did anyone see that swift water rescue with that guy on top of a car....Ahhhh

Drive safe, everyone. Stay away from them puddles.

Actually this is nothing, try living in Portland for a few years, you get used to it!
Ed, I haven't driven my car in a few weeks, so I don't have an issue with my CAI. I only drive it in sunny weather thats why I have my beater to drive in sh#tty weather.

How ironic, your complaining how "scared" you are to drive your Z in a puddle, while others are scared of dying from the tsunami incident. Just be grateful you have rain, its nice to see we are actually getting rain once in a while, maybe next time we wont have any... Not trying to be negative, believe me I want to take the Wicked Beast out too but I guess we really have nothing to complain about. Good day sir

I also think this rain is good. So. California is, from what I understand, still in a drought. So the more rain we get the better for our environment. We want clean streets and freeways to drive our Z's through don't we?

Unhappy

We'll the rain has cost me $1000. Hit a deep flooded intersection and the water tore the front lip and most of the dumper off the Twisted Z II. Fiberglass and flooding waters don't match to well

Back to the original bumper for a while.

I wish my 240 wasn't on jack stands. I'd be driving that around instead of the Z. It's wierd seeing camrys and civics pass my on the freeway. Don't want to risk hurting my Z.

just found out, even thought it stopped raining like a week and a half ago that 2 people, one of them being a friend of a friend, both got into accidents on the freeway. my buddy totaled his Z and the other one damaged the front bumper and little bit of the fender. They were driving at 50 mph when he hydro'd and SLAMMAGE!!!! He's now going with the G35c or 330. At least they are both ok... sorry to dig up a past thread... careful when you guys drive on the freeway when it rains.

Ok WTF is wrong with Cali damn rain...Geez maybe New York cold is not bad at all after all. I lost power Friday morning into late Saturday evening since the thunder was hella loud. I feel bad for the people who live on the hilly areas.
