Default What to do in San Diego

A co-worker and I are transporting a prisoner to Miramar Federal Prison next week, and we are wondering whats there to do in San Diego. We are only there for 1 full day, Mon/Tues. Flying in this Monday.

Any good eateries, ect? Heard there was a good seafood place downtown near 32nd street?

BTW, we are armed, so no night life or drinking,

Hook a fellow Z member up,

U.S.S Midway is docked in SD so that would be a cool visit if you have some time. It's within walking distance of Seaport village which has lots of places to eat. Enjoy your visit!

First and most importantly, thank you thank you thank you for getting rid of that awful mondo-wheeled avatar; it was like a moustache on the mona lisa .
Second, i didn't even know we HAD a federal prison here; is it military?
If you are downtown, there is always Ruth cris (sp?) Steakhouse on Pacific Coast Hwy. I believe there is a Charthouse in Seaport Villiage, also downtown; has excellent seafood. For something different, try Rei de Gado, a Brazilian steakhouse downtown by Horton Plaza. They have many different cuts of meat on giant skewers they bring around to your table; good salad bar, too.

Charthouse is gone now, and if you can't drink I don't have too many suggestions we like to party here! Check out the beach and Coranado. Balbao park is pretty cool as well.

San Diego was a blast, too bad I only had about 2 hours to spend sightseeing. Processing the prisoner was a *****.

I am retiring in beautiful San Diego.

BTW, I went to the area where the cruise ship and pirate ships are. Walked for about an hour. The only depressing thing was all the homeless people that are there begging for $. Other than that, an awesome city.

I'll be back probably every month or so, so I am sure I will have fun the next trip.
