Default The Next Run

So, sounds like people had fun. What do you guys want to do? We can do an leisurely cruise up to Santa Barbara and revisit the Brown Pelican. Or, we can do a different canyon run. Audio Pat's run was nice. Or, Angeles Crest.

The Santa Barbara run was a small group but it was a nice drive and the food was excellent and in a nice setting. https://my350z.com/forum/southern-california/98391-santa-barbara-sunday-november-14-2004-at-9-00-a-m.html

We can do a Scott Webb track day as a nice alternative as well.

Why don't you guys vote on what to do and then we can work out some dates for late May or early to mid June.

1. I'd love the SB run. This is a long run so it should be planned out far in advance.... like at least a month ahead.

2. Pat's run was cool too.... that was good for a cruise.

3. Angeles Crest... I've never done this (Iris reminded me that I haven't done an AC run during this run.)

4. OR we can go to Hemet/ Palm Springs run. That run was awesome. I'm sure Tom and Jon can vouch for this.

5. Scott's track day... I have a feeling that many people prefer it on a Saturday. So how is 7/16/05 for that event?

So, let's have the AC run in May, SB run in June and Track event in July. We got the next three months all planned out. Sweet!

Sho,
Good plan! I wanted to do the SB but car was being worked on, so definitely want to do that!
I also want to track my car as well and a group track day would be awesome!
AC is another great run and would be a nice long cruise, even the Palm Springs run was fun for sure we will have to do that sometime this summer!!

I had a great time on Sat.

As far as the next run goes, count me in for the Santa Barbara idea. I would like the next one to be a little more leisurely (the GF had a death grip on my seats)

Well, I sent the guy an e-mail to see if there is any group discount for the track day. Also, the number of spots available for the 7/16 event. As for the SB run - I'll leave that to Dan to organize since that's his run. So, who's going to organize the AC run?

I'm pretty much free on all weekends for the next three months so, peoples, start posting dates that you are availabe for the following:

1. AC Run - pick dates in May

2. SB Run - pick dates in June

3. Track day - 7/16/05 (set)

Someone please describe the AC route to me. I have also not driven that route and was wondering what it consists of.

Almost any Sunday works for me until August, then I'm tied up both weekend days. I start baseball on the 14th so Saturdays are out till the end of the World Series.

Looking forward to the next one wherever it might take us

+1 for group track day. HPDE school would be great and is guaranteed to get some more of you interested in joining us trackheads regularly. This car begs to be driven at it's limits on a track at least once, and once you do it, you'll see what I and many others here mean.

Wow Angeles Crest looks awesome.

Thanks Iris for the link, great resource. I don't know when this is being planned for, but it looks like I'm going to get my new bumper at the end or this month.

Hey Vince. There are a couple of ppl selling their OEM bumper in DB in the classified forum. If you want to replace it quick, they may be a good route to go.
