Track video from Buttonwillow. Z32 vs. M3/Carrera/GT2!
Z chasing Carrera & M3, 7.5min, 20MB
Z chasing GT2, 3min, 15MB
"Right-click" and "save-target-as" the files to your local drive and then you can view them. Quality is OK, but not great due to compression from 500MB to 20MB. Adjust size for best viewing. About 6" diag. seems best.
The Carrera and M3 were a couple of the fastest guys that day, I do eventually get by them. The GT2 was interesting to match on straight line acceleration!
This was my first time at Buttonwillow last Sunday. Fun track and I will definitely go back!

AWESOME vids bro. Now if only someone could convince me to grow the b***s to track my own Track, lol.
BTW, what do you have in your Z32? I don't how you managed to keep up with a 450hp GT2.

Hey ZGuy,
Coo video. Looks like track configuration #16? ... that is one of the fastest layout.
I remember you from the dyno day nearly a year ago in Reseda. Your Z32 was a beast on the dyno!?!?
It must be nice to have that much torque and power, because you hardly touched the shifter and still managed to keep up with fast traffic.
btw ... the white Porsche looked and sounded like a GT3. Non the less ... still a wickedly fast machine! Good job chasing it down!
Ironically, I'm heading up to Buttonwillow in less than two days (this Friday). We'll be running layout #1 ... complete with 'Bus Stop' and 'Lost Hill'. It is the most challenging and complex layout at Buttonwillow; the one I find most rewarding.
Maybe I'll see you at the track in the future too.

Hi Clint,
Yes, it was the fast configuration #16. I do want to experience the more common layout w/ Bus stop and Lost hill, but as you can see the straights were fun in a high HP car!
The Porsche was a GT2.
Hopefully I'll see you out there someday soon!

The GT2 Let you past, you pulled SUPER HARD like if the car was standing still. And during the whole video you NEVER pulled that hard, you were just pacing him. Not to mention you passed him faster than you did the M3, and the M3 compared to the GT2 is no challenge. Good video though, how much horspower is your car running? Have you ran the 1/4 mile?

My best 1/4 mi is 11.95sec, but I've only been out once.

Just curious. What track day was this? Those were some terrible apexes I saw on that course. Areas for improvement:
-The esses should have been hopped
-Sunset (better angle for more exit speed)
-Same for the Grapevine
Anyways, looked like you had a great time
