Default bodykit install pricing

Can anyone tell me how much this would end up costing in SoCal? Just need a ballpark figure on people who've done work similar to this.

Here it is :

#1 - Paint and install Ings (or other) fiberglass sideskirts (good fitment,
painted stock Super Black)
#2 - Veilside V1 lip (fiberglass version) molded to stock front bumper /
painted stock Super Black
#3 - Paint doorhandles to match body, shave front/rear 'hamburger' emblems
+ side 'Z' emblems

I'm leaning toward taking it to one of these shops - M1 Autobody, Auto Explosion, or MOB Works.

www.mobworks.com Based on the install for my kit. I would say about $500-700 for yours since it includes molding. Call Miguel for a reasonable quote.

I would say if it all orginal kits such as ings and Veilside the prices should be around the following:

1 - Paint and install Ings (or other) fiberglass sideskirts (good fitment,
painted stock Super Black)- $400

2 - Veilside V1 lip (fiberglass version) molded to stock front bumper /
painted stock Super Black- Molded $400

3 - Paint doorhandles to match body, shave front/rear 'hamburger' emblems
+ side 'Z' emblems-

Both fenders will have to be repainted, front bumper repainted as well as the rear truck lid. The door handles would have to be done.
I say your taking atleast $1000+

Out of all the places lsited I would personally recommend Auto Explosion.

Auto Explosion is the most reasonable, has good turn around time, and also does really good paint work.

M-1 plays around with people too much with pricing and rarely does a great paint job.

MOB I have no idea.

thanks for the info fellas... So basically in the ballpark of $1800 for all bodywork. Not bad at all ! I guessed roughly $1500 for everything. I figured the shaving of the emblems would require repainting of those panels.

Auto Explosion does great work and I've used them in the past, but they always seem overbooked. I've also heard good things about MOB Works. M1 Autobody, I've heard a lot of good AND bad things.

You have to repaint the trunk liid to shave the rear emblem? I thought it was just stuck on there with glue.

you can go to sixteen customs in gardena... they do mostly lowriders.. and do ridiculously clean work... It's run by a super detail oriented Japanese guy.

Hey Jeff, my g/f took her M3 there when she was lightly rear ended. I went with her and spoke to the Japanese guy (his wife was really cool too). Did great work, but pricing was a little high. My g/f is freakin' rich so she didn't seem to mind.

What sort of work did you have done ther and how much did they charge?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that's only for the Roadsters. The coupes have an indentation, so it has to be filled and thus the whole hatch has to be repainted =(

yup... there are nostrils that need to be filled and repainted over. That's the only reason why I haven't debaged the burger emblem yet.

man... does your g/f have a sister? Looking for a super rich girl to buy me some parts. hahaha.

I go to "Prestige Too" for insurance body work.... near Torrance Blvd and Crenshaw Blvd. I just picked up my Altima from them today (my right mirror got chopped off by someone...) They did a clean job. Paint matches very well too. The door where the mirror hit showed really minor uneven-ness.... it won't be visible to even the most suspicous eyes but I guess I'm picky. I figured that's probably the best anyone can do so I let it go.

I have another shop doing my front lip... got hooked up (not that local).... it's getting painted as we speak. I haven't looked at his work yet but super inexpensive and looks like a dedicated guy. Will see how that goes. PM me for info.

Thanks Sho. I've had insurance work done at Prestige Too in the past. Those guys are good but pricey if you go there for something other than a insurance claim IMO. They quoted me $1K+ to repaint my front bumper on my SUV. Got quotes from other places with roghly the same quality work or better, and it was around $700.

Any body shop suggestions for San Diego County? I'll be putting on fiberglass hood, side skirts, front & rear bumper.
