Default Job Opportunity

I know this is Off Topic but since this is the southern cali forum I'm hoping the moderator will let it slide...

I currently have 6 job openings in my department dur to a new project, maybe someone here is or knows someone qualified:

These are all senior level positions in the Simi Valley area

3 x Sr Level Internet Developers: must be ver good at VB.NET, ASP.NET and SQL Server, great communication skills, the ability to work independantly and take ownership of the task assigned to them.

2 x Sr System Analyst: must have excellent communication skills, technical background in Microsoft technology such as .NET and UML knowledge. Background in Mortgage Banking is a huge plus

1 SR QA Analyst: strong communication skills, technical knowledge of Intranet and .NET environments. Mortgage Banking knowledge is also a big plus

this is for a fortune 500 company, great benifits and compatitive salaries.
Even thought there's a lot of work and it can get stressful we are a great bunch of people and still have fun.
Experience should be at least 6 to 8 years. If you have a consulting background even better...

PM me if seriously interested/qualified

Wow do we work for the same company?? LOL

I'm also looking for web developers. I work in the Mortgage industry as well. Good luck with your search! Seems like the IT market is good but the talent just isn't there... I've been interviewing a lot of candidates but they all seem weak...

One of my Sys An positions has quite a bit of cross over with PM work, you can send me your resume if you like.

Seriously it doesn't sound like anyone with those Sr. 6-8 years of experience will have a problem looking for work or commanding a salary or even have a pick of location.

You'd be surprised... the IT industry is not what it used to be with tons of jobs being outsourced to india for pennies compared to what developers would rightly charge in the USA. It's similar to the car industry when everything started to get outsourced.
The amount of people signing up for Computer Science in college has dramatically decreased as well.

If I would decide to leave my job right now it would not be that easy to find another job paying what I currently make...

Talking about expensive cars: the CTO of our company just bought an Aston Martin DB9....now that's a beauty, I'm trying to get him to race me for slips (at the track of course)
