would I gain any benefit from mixing 70% 91 and 30% 100? I'm not FI'd... prolly burns better, I would think.

If you have bolt-on's it'll help a bit. Make sure to reset your ecu after you put the 100 octane. 100 octane is safe for your cats so you can put much more than 70%.

In a N/A car, the timing is advanced giving just a little more power and the knock sensor will not detect any knock.

On a F/I car, it prevents detonation so most people run more boost or run the same boost but with confidence.

holy dead thread revival!!

yea .. alot of those 76s dont carry race gas anymore.. i wonder if there is an updated list...

the 76 station listed for Yorba Linda doesnt even exist anymore. They bulldozed it a couple years ago and now its just a parking lot

I think I will just stick to my Chevron 91 Octane gas...those 100 Octanges are wayy too expensive for me

I do know that Downs Oil Co. has race fuel, because my co-worker gets his there for his 67 chevy nova.

I found a place in Simi Valley that has 100 octane for $5.99 a gallon I will drive by there today and get you guys the address. Any other spots you guys can updated us with.
