Exclamation Something I noticed at the LA Autoshow today. . .

Everyone knows that the front and rear bumpers as well as the lower rockerpanel/valence is color-keyed plastic, however did you know that the entire A-pillar all the way back to where the rear hatch roof hinge is, is plastic!?

I did not know this until now. Thus the question is, if they can color match this plastic so well with the rest of the vehicle, then why does the bumpers and rocker panel on some 350Z's do not? Is this piece painted with the rest of the sheetmetal at the same time? Anyone know why?

Default Painted plastic

Take a look a the plastic on my car. Looks pretty good and no orange peel. I'm affraid it will chip easy. I hope not.

Tzzzz, do you have any more pics of your Z? I like the look of the chrome rims on there.
