Default Corner 3 Installing APS TT

I am going to have a shop in Lake Forest called Corner 3 install my APS TT next week. Has anyone used this shop before? They have great prices and the tech claims to be a Nissan Master Tech. Any feedback on this shop would be greatly appreciated.

Thumbs up

I've gone to Corner3 before and Steve does a pretty good job and treats the car with care. Good CS too. At first, i was just going to buy some royal purple and motul brake fluid cuz they give UCI students a discount, but he ended up changing my oil for free. Steve is a Nissan Master tech and used to be a mechanic at Power Irvine a several years back and has worked on a lot of modded Nissans, but hasn't worked on thaaaaaat many Zs yet. But he has done a at least 1 TT on a Z and a lot of smaller jobs. He's worked on a lot of Hondas cuz he pretty much rebuilt an ITR from the ground up and honda-tech board members started to flock to his place. Steve's a good guy and will take care of you.

You might as well go to Brainstorm - they're APS specialists and in the LA area. Ask those guys at Corner 3 if they can tune the Unichip, if they can't, go to Brainstorm.

He may not have done many Z's but he has done a lot of the 3.5L engines. He's gets my vote because they have great customer support and backs up their work. If you watch how Steve works on your car, he treats it like a newborn. He doesn't even mind you hanging around. He's actually done 2 TT Z's, one is Navygolf13 and ZRAYGO, both having high power setups.... when I meant working on them he's done extensive work.

If you have any questions just talk to Steve and he will lay it out for you. He doesn't b.s. and will tell you straight up.

btw, he did do my AP's along with exhaust and other installs.

Brainstorm will be significantly more expensive and they are a pain to deal with in my experience. You will be happy with Corner3.

Albert, missed you at the Stillen day what up?

Was at the Stillen meet for like 1.5 hours then dip out to the Oakley sale at their warehouse in LF. We'll have to meet up again @ Miguel's.

Corner3 just finish an SR20 swap so his 2nd lift is free for a build. Do it.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Corner 3 was the cheapest quote by far for installing the tt, it's nice to see that they do good work too.

Update: Installation is done and the car runs great! Steve is the best mechanic I have ever run across. He even had to do a few custom things to make the kit work with my set up. I definately recommend this shop for anyone with a Toyota, honda, or Nissan. He specializes in those areas. Thanks to those of you who commented.

No they do not, but ANYTHING else you want done go there and tell them that Bob sent you. I stop by there at least once a week. If anyone is looking to do a full build as well let me know and I can help with that as Corner 3 is not set up to do those as easily.
Glad everything worked out well with the APS there. By the way where are you going to tune it?
