yea he seems like a fun loving guy but hes a brat. always *****ing and making excuses when things start turning just a little south. plus the fact that he comes into the season fat and nasty every year only to actually start playing the last 1/3 of the season. if thats the case he should be getting paid 1/3 of his oversized salary

The whole "I make them when they count" thing is BS. They counted big time the other night when he was 1-9.

he got fined 10k from nba and 25k from miami for skipping out on the post game conference. freakin coward. just like when charles barkeley punked him when chuck was with the rockets. i just think its funny how he talks shiet about everyone "dampier could be a superstar....in the WNBA" and "feed the daddy" and bad mouthing the laker organization, but when he gets some heat from the media he gets butt hurt.

dont get me wrong i think hes a freak of nature on the court. he cant be guarded one on one but shiet if i was 7 feet 340 pounds i could do what hes doing plus more. cuz i can hit my free throws =D

I don't really mind what he says about the lakers, I'm still a shaq fan. I fell asleep through most of the game, but if he just gets 5 pts and 6 rebounds, he's just showing his age. He use to dominate in the playoffs and especially in the finals, 30+ pts and big rebound numbers would be routine. Sure, he'll have a big game now and then, but from night to night, he just can't do it anymore. He use to have both power and speed, but he's lost much of his speed so he must now rely on his size.

Shaq is a big guy, but he is sensitive about what people say. For example, Phil Jackson could say what he wanted to someone like Kobe, but had to hold back a bit on what he said to shaq. Big or not, that's just how he is.

BTW, when he had that little mishap with barkley, the two went to dinner afterwards.

I don't know how he started this season, but his first season with the Heat, he was trim and in shape. A bit of a shame he couldn't do the same with the lakers during the previous seasons.

yea he was trim last year to show the lakers up. this year he was 345 pounds. pat riley made him go on a diet/excercise routine and he lost 25 pounds. he said 300-350 pounds......it doesnt matter because its all muscle. i believe he said "whether im 300 or 350 pounds its all pure sexiness. people think someone that heavy is all fat but its not."

Shaq > Kobe...
true but kobe has more years to try and win it all. with kobe vs shaq its not about regular season wins or playoff success.....its all out the championships. if miami doesnt win this year, they probably will have less of a chance to win in the following years. they are over the cap and need to invest the maximum contract to D wade. so the nucleous of d wade, williams, haslem, posey, and shaq will be there for the next 4 years. not too much money for free agents.

lakers situation isnt that great either. but i think if we can trade for brevin knight or D fish, then sign a big man to the mid level contract at 5 million, we should be all right. picture we sign a nazr mohammed or alonzo mourning. that would be solid.

Maybe Kobe learned he can't win without Shaq? Looks like the Heat made it a lot further than the Lakers... both years!

Both are great and talented players with bright future in front of them. I personally detest Kobe. Talented, but completely immature. Once he grows up, maybe he'll become a truly great star like the old MJs. It's called a team for a reason, not 1 vs 5.
