Alright, I'll try to explain in an easy way for you. I'll be brief and to the point.

For a good looking setup, your front wheels should be 9"-9.5" wide, and your rear wheels should be 10"-10.5"
My wheels are 9" front and 10" rear. Most Volks run 9.5" front and 10.5" rear.
(Don't be like Eric and run sissy 8.5" front and 9.5" setup he used to have LOL)

As far as offsets, the lower the number gets, the more your wheels will stick out.
You probably don't want anything higher than +25, since your wheels will be tucked in too much.
Ideal, aggressive setup is in the teens like others said, but most likely you'll have to roll/cut your fenders.
Some crazy people like Zach(Tanman8181) runs like +8 offsets for VERY aggressive stance lol
There's a member that runs 0 offset, but I think the wheels stick out just too much for my taste.

Keep in mind that it all these factors vary slightly by wheels as well as tire sizes.

hmm ok, i pretty much had all that info in my head already, but seeing it laid out helped.
i dont even know if the wheels come in 10 or 10.5.

so what tire size would 9.5 and 10.5 translate to? i wouldnt want to stretch the tires.. right? i mean i need my tire wall for canyons and whatnot...

hmm what about camber?

9.5" and 10.5" would translate to 245 in the front and 275 in the rear.
If you want you can go one more size up and go 255 and 285.
This also varies slightly depending on which tires you get. For example, if you get Toyo T1Rs, I would go 255 instead of 245 in the front.
My only advice for the tiress will be... GET MICHELLIN PILOT SPORT PS2

Technically, if your car is dropped more than 1inch, you would need camber kit.
My car's dropped about 1.5inch in the rear but I don't run camber kit..
