LACR is better because you get more runs. Fontana is too organized, lol. I don't want to run when somebody tells me to run, i'd rather pick and choose a time.

Yeah you can get really good practice at LACR when it isn't a special night. The sandstorm doesn't help one bit with the times though.

What happened to that proposed Mopar track on the way to Palm Springs?

Best run I ever did in LACR was like 14.8 @ 95F (summer temps suck).

the new track in fontana is not much better now, there are strong side winds and it's next to a big sand field. We were running there during the summer and our ez up got blown away and I got almost pushed into the other lane by the heavy wind and the sand on the track didn't help.
Big mistake that they moved the track over there.

In november it was much better unfortunately I broke my axles during the first round of IDRC

LACR is great for practise because you get lots of runs, very true.

The fastest track in southern cali is Famoso in bakersfield. Long *** drive but really well prepped closer to sea level and fast.
Once the weather is getting better again and I get my new stage 5 axles I'll go there.
We could organize a track day and all cruise down there together.

Track prep is the key so while you can complain about the DA there are conversions

Track prep will be the best way to accurately gauge you car without having a local Sea Level track

WHen I lived in Idaho the track there was similar to LACR in elevation and in the summer 113 temps sucked bad --- but when you race all season you have to deal with it and the the extremely hot ground when your underneath your car prepping it for a pass

Fall/Winter months with good track prep = best times
