Default Help! Need some romantic Santa Barbara ideas! ASAP!!!

It's the girlfriend's birthday. She wants to go to SB.

Looking to leave Saturday AM and spend an afternoon doing something fun, then have a romantic dinner (not at a chain restaurant... preferably some place with a good, possibly well-known chef and a nice ambience). Any kind of food is fine, italian, fancy californian style, etc.

and finally stay at a nice hotel for a romantic evening.

PLEASE help me out with some ideas!!

Thanks in Advance, I've never been to SB before!!

Mike

Last year, I took a bunch of us down to the Brown Pelican in Santa Barbara. The restaurant is right next to the beach and they serve up an awesome breakfast for a very reasonable price. When you get there, that's what I'd start with.

There is the Santa Barbara Mission that first comes to mind which you can check out. And, I'd suggest you find yourself a nice bed and breakfast for the evening.

Why do you call her "the" girlfriend and not "my" girlfriend? Do you not want her to be associated with you? It seems rather impersonal.

In Santa Barbara, you might try going to a wine tasting as one of the things to do.

I'll call *my* girlfriend whatever I want

I've already thought about wine tasting, but thanks

Give them a call, I don't think they will hold to you that considering the time of year and the weather.
