unfortunately, having it on the dash doesnt work either. the cop that gave u the ticket was probably on a motorcycle....i hate driving to pasadena, those cops r total ******. for it to be legal it has to be attached to the front end....chp will tell u that, they can be ****** too.

no plate ftw....take it in, show them, pay ur fine, go home and take it back off....oh yeah...stay out of pasadena

 

hmm, never had a plate in my 3 years of driving in pasadena. you just gotta be careful and know where to avoid. i did get one in the valley though, parked at a meter infront of a tux shop. ticket read 4:28 PM, i come to my car at 4:29 PM

 

Okay so most of you will probably think i'm ghetto but I got a ticket for no front plates and there was to way i was going to Drill holes on my bumper or spend $75 bucks on the Stillen bracket which goes on the grille. So my dumb A$$ just Zip Tied it and took it to the Station late at nite to get it written off and it worked....lol. Then again I hope it wasnt because I'm a chick but i even used yellow zip ties to match my car. Just thought id share some of the stupid things i come up with!

I left my temporary registration in the front windshield so, if they see me from the front, it looks like its a new car and I just haven't gotten plates yet. I've had the car for almost a year.

 

sorry to hear about that...that cop must be really really bored..and nothing better to do.

 

^yea i have the worse luck with cops. no biggie, better than a moving infraction.
