as some of you know my nismo bumper went to **** this past weekend from the canyon run. so i put my stock bumper on the car. i had my plate on my nismo bumper on a bracket and need one for the stock bumper so i didnt drive my car at all this whole week. anyways i get up today and go to the car to get my a business card for this doctor for my grandpa and theres a ticket on my car. no front plates. this street has no parking signs so there is really no reason for a parking ticket cop to "patrol here" but i got a front plate ticket AGAIN. what im pissed about is my plate in on my dash and its right in front of a residence and there are 4 other cars at this moment within 300 meters from my car without a front plate.

anyways thats my rant and i know i need a front plate on my car, and i have had it on my car for the past couple months. if i show pics of my plate on my dash and my nismo bumper all fawked up do you think i can contest this ticket?

i got a ticket for parking on my own grass inside the gate...... i was like WTF!!!

 

i also got a freaking licence plate parking ticket . my car was parked on the street and it says $25 for front plate...

i have Q do i just send the money? and will it clear? or do i have to go inspection ?

sorry for the bad luck man. kinda weird...i've been driving around socal for 3 years without a front plate and never had a problem.

 

I feel your pain, I got several no front plate tickets, while being parked at LAX (That's like blowing up fish in barrel with C4, way to serve and protect @ssholes!!!) in the extended stay parking lots, came back from a weekend in AZ and hello parking ticket... BS, all of it... After two of em, I said F'k it and bolted the damn bracket into my bumper (As I was flying out of LAX almost every other weekend) as I didn't want to give LA any more of my $$$.

i got 3 tickets and finally put that POS on.. looks like ****.. you have to have it clearly visible or some bs.. dash thing will not work, i don't think. I'd personally fight it.. I fight evey ticket that I get, win or lose.

 

D, are all the tickets you are getting from the same officer? If you do then someone has it in for you... if not, you go the worst luck ever.

 

Such a shame to put such a pos plate on a nice front bumper (and rare) on yours.

 

LOL. i got into an accident not too long ago. and my front bumper was destroyed.. so i took in a nismo v2 bumper, and when i went to pick up my car, my license plate was already ON the front. looked SO ugly. and i didnt even get to drill my baby... now my bumpers not a virgin anymore.. LOL!

I have 3 cars. Non of them have front plates. Dealer tried to offer help to install the front on the newest car I bought. I declined and left it off. I've been pulled over many times by local cops and statetroopers. Non of them every said anything. I guess Texas laws regarding front plates have changed. 10 years ago they were writing tickets just as harshly as what you guys are dealing with. Sorry for your bad luck OP. Since this is considered a non moving violation, I would fight it. What do you have to loose?
