i personaly think youll be better off with just the touring if you want all those neat little ad-ons. i have a 06 touring and i think the bose sound system is just great (IMO) and the heated leather seats deff. come in handy on cold days. if you feel like adding a few extra grand just for the breaks and rims then by all means go for it.

also on top of that i have the 05 which only has 287hp...so i'd gain an additional 13hp too...

waiting for nissan to call me back so we'll see whats up.

any idea how much the 07 GT's are going for?

Actually you'll gain in excess of 20hp under the new hp rating system. By the new scale your 287hp model is actually closer to ~281hp. The 300hp revup engines are rated at 293hp now. And the 306hp is under the new scale...so it'd be worth it to get an 07 for you IMO..

stopped by nissan of garden grove yesterday and spent about an hour with one of the sales man...

if i plan on getting a new Z at all i'd probably go with enthusiast.

only difference between that and the touring and GT are some convienence options, VDC, and the brakes. ( which i plan on chaning out sometime in the future anyways...)

i did like the pull of the new motor though...seems to have alot more pick up in the bottom end.

dont know if i wanna add another 7 or 8k to my loan though just to have the extra hp, new wheels, the VLSD, and the head/tail lights. cant justify spending another 7-8 grand for stuff i can do to the car for half the price through aftermarket products.

haha im in san diego and i got heated seats dude to be honest with u i regret getting a loade GT 350z.....i mean if your gonna mod then base is fine...i never use the heated seats, the leather gets really hot and burns if u are wearing shorts, and the bose surround sound isnt that great...basic speaker upgrades sound much better...wish i wouldve got a base and had an extra 8K laying around to buy stuff for car
