Default So my Company sent me to newport beach

I'm here for about another 7 weeks or so. From out of town, and bored out of my skull. What do people do around here for fun (and on a budget, my expense account is far from lavish)?

stare out the hotel window and **********?

(there's nothing in Newport that you can do on a budget, other than walk around Balboa island, maybe, or find a dive bar to hang out at on the peninsula -- drive 5 miles north to Huntington (Main Street) and it gets cheaper.)

lol, i love newport beach. my family isn't too far away from there and usually we rent a boat and sail around. but since you're on a budget, you can't do much there as previous stated. huntingtion beach is a cool place to hang around and chill.

Newport FTW! Sharkeez isn't expensive and is fun, SuTra is cool, not cheap, and there are a bunch of other places, 3 thirty 3 if you like the older ladies

Have fun!

What type of things are you into. There's lots of things to do in newport and the surrounding areas.

I'll have to check some of these places out. Its too bad that I'm just not into boats. Is there anything worth seeing at "fashion Island" I noticed that appears to be the closest movies theatre to my hotel. I'd love to do a canyon run, but the mazda 3 that they rented me isnt quite as fun as the Z. Whats at landmark? The one think I am finding cool about this place is the sheer number of expensive cars. Every day I see at least 1 or 2 ferraris and bentleys etc.. There was a nice porsche gt in the parking the other day.
