Default Dromo 1 Drifting

Has anyone ever been to this place before.

http://www.dromo1.com

It looked like a cool place to have a GTG. If anyones intersted let me know. I am planning on going with some friends during the 4th of July weekend.

Alright, I'm planning on meeting up at Dromo1 on JULY 7TH AT 1 PM. Just trying to guage the interest here. I'll start the list. The track allows 9 people to race at a time. So I'd like a minimum of 9 people. Then I can set up a group event there. Feel free to let me know if any other times are better for you. I'm flexible.

gues you've never pushed the karts hard enough. karts are easy enough to slide around at dromo 1.

k1 feels dull in comparison, but they are indeed probably faster. then again, im used to a 2 stroke shifter kart...

If you go to moran and drive some real carts, the indoor tracks won't be as fun afterwards.

karts are no longer fun after doing the real deal in a car. i've yet to drive a shifter kart. we've done some GPs at K1. good times had by all.

you'll think the opposite once you sit in a real kart. even just a 100cc or even 80cc shifter...

track isnt big enought to "drift" if you slide anywhere but that one big swooping turn u'll lose time. to each his own but i prefer k1 thanks

I've been to K1 but personally I prefer drifting so I figure I'd try dromo 1.

I've been to Dromo. It's fun, but it left me feeling kind of ehh...
Where can you drive REAL carts? You know, the ones with gears, that do 100+ mph...

If you get a group and rent out the track, the cost should be around ~150/person. A good deal more expensive than K1 or dromo, but you do get hours of track time, higher speeds along with elevation changes. If you do a couple $20 dollar races at dromo1 or the grand prix, it really isn't that much more. Just to note, the parking lot is gravel/dirt so one might not want to bring the Z or other sports car if it's really low.

But yeah, set up a dromo1 meet. I'd be interested.

Moran looks great, but it's suuuuper expensive. Almost $100/hour!
Looks super tempting. That, or I just track the Z
