Default Who do I trust with an oil change for an APS TT ?

I'm in Westwood by UCLA, my tuner is an hour up north, I don't feel like driving up there for an oil change. Don't really want to go to your typical pep boys either. The oil pan is deepened, the dipstick reading will be way off, and I don't want any incompetence.

I need exactly 5 quarts of Mobil 1 in that puppy, should I buy it myself and take it to Joe Shmoe, or is there a competent shop in my area that knows our cars ?

Its really not hard. Its just one bolt, drain, put it back on and put new oil. Along with a new filter. Also are you sure its not more than 5. I thought the stock oil pan was 5 quarts and don't the deep sump require an additional quart making it 6?

The stock is 5. My JWT Spacer made it 6... I'm pretty sure APS added another quart.

If you want to come here, you can do it here in a lift and be able to dump it. I can also teach you who to do it.

I use West Covina Nissan although it's quite a drive from you but the techs treat my car like it's their own. I go directly to Tim Lange for any oil changes and or service. West Co uses Motul for my oil changes........

If you want to make the drive to us, we'd be more than happy to take care of it for you. We have Mobil 1 or Motul in the full synthetic for our price of $44.95. Pm me or give me a call to set it up.

jiffy lube, sit there and watch them, especially underneath. bring your own oil and watch them pore it in.

nice a my350z near by, Im like 5 mins from you! I would go to Performance Nissan in Duarte if you dont mind the drive. Also EDO Performance in Huntingon Beach might be a good alternative, give them a call.
