I think you're running it a little low. I run 36-38 psi on mine and I have 18" tires...

When I get to 35psi I feel that's a bit too low. I agree with the above. Between 35-40 seems ideal.

when you guys are going to run a 1/4 mile on your street tires? what do you keep your psi at? do you leave it high at like 38? or do you drop it? just curious...

definately drop the psi to 20 or under if you want when u're at the 1/4 track. it does help get you out the hole faster

Recommended cold tire pressure all around for the car is 35 PSI. I have the Nismo 18s with Falken RT-615s and still run them at this pressure (actually 34 in the rear) and it feels good. When driving, they are in the 38-40 range.

hmm lets keep this going guys..
my fronts when cold are at 34psi when it heats up it goes to 35.5-36.5 psi
my rears when cold stay around 32.5-33.5psi and when hot they go to 34.5-35.5psi (will add some psi tomorrow)

question - at what psi does it get dangerous for the wheels to get bent/damaged?
