i searched and could only find 1 thread about aftermarket wheels.. im wondering how much psi you guys are running your aftermarket wheels/tires.. im currently running 33-35 psi all around on my 255/35/19, 275/35/19.. max psi on my rear tires says 54psi.. how much air do you guys think i should have in it?
when you guys are going to run a 1/4 mile on your street tires? what do you keep your psi at? do you leave it high at like 38? or do you drop it? just curious...
Recommended cold tire pressure all around for the car is 35 PSI. I have the Nismo 18s with Falken RT-615s and still run them at this pressure (actually 34 in the rear) and it feels good. When driving, they are in the 38-40 range.
hmm lets keep this going guys..
my fronts when cold are at 34psi when it heats up it goes to 35.5-36.5 psi
my rears when cold stay around 32.5-33.5psi and when hot they go to 34.5-35.5psi (will add some psi tomorrow)
question - at what psi does it get dangerous for the wheels to get bent/damaged?
