Like the titles says, I went to Wachovia's new branch office near Rosemead to open a free checking account with online banking for a deposit of $500 and they will give me a bonus of $75 cash into my account later in the month plus $25 referral bonus from my friend who told me about this. If you deposit just $100 you will receive $25 bonus plus another $25 referral by mentioning my name. Also if you have direct deposit you will get $20 more.
(There's no catch to this. You can withdraw your $$$ as soon as the next business day). Wachovia Bank is the 2nd largest bank in U.S. and they are every where in the east coast.

you can call other branches to see if they have the same promo(i'm sure they prolly do).

FYI - The personal banker stated you have 90 days to fund the account $500. This is the same period of time given to setup direct deposit.
FYI 2 - The personal banker stated that the $25 refer a friend bonus and this offer can to combined.
