Is it only me, but it feels like i'm being spammed everyday on West Covina Nissan this, West Covina Nissan That, Performance Nissan this, Performance Nissan that? I'm all for showing praise for places that service our cars to benefit the new members of our site, but this is getting ridiculous and frankly utterly annoying. It is starting to cross the line of informing members to an e-battle for So Cal customers. This is getting worse than my hotmail e-mail account after I registered on porno sites (kidding )

IMO, just giving props for dealership who deserved it. I rather see people post good things about a dealer than putting stickers on their car so show love.

 

Sadly, some are being paid to do that too on top of starting these lame threads that are not even about praise. When there is more "between the lines" it is just crossing the line. Maybe these "dealership praise threads" need to be grouped together and stickied like the "350z sightings thread"

Man, let me tell you about my praises for Mossy Nissan. I went in and they did an oil change on my Pathfinder in less than an hour. That is outstanding service.


I did not get 10 free oil changes to post this...

i simply posted my appreciation for performance nissans service and assistance in my transmission issue. i have no issues with wcn. in fact they treated me well when i went in for an oil change. however, i do agree that its been getting a bit out of hand with all these "thanks to wcn" and "thanks to perf" maybe a sticky is a good idea.

I dont know whos getting paid to write up these threads but I hope thats not true. I for one, am not. im not saying that rick you are saying that i am but just wanted to clear my name =D.

I'm not sure if people are "specifically being paid" to write up these threads, but they seem so fabricated that it just seems it is an extension of the handouts acting as some sort of bribery. Although it may not be deliberate...the threads popping up in ridiculous continuity along with the need that the dealerships somehow have of shamelessly plugging themselves even if the thread is about them doing something as simple as wiping their butt

But seriously, I just take it for what it is... someone's opinion. I mean, I can easily ignore it by not clicking on the link right? The fact is we have two very excellent facilities in Performance and WestCo. We're spoiled here compared to the kind of service other forum members in other states have with their dealerships. To me, I'm glad to see people get taken care of in either dealership. It's just like filling out one of those response cards at a restaurant but this time the forum can see their view on the service. I've bought equal amount of aftermarket parts at both dealerships and have only positive experiences with both service departments.

I give Performance and WestCo three snaps in a Z formation.

Oh, and I don't get paid to say these things. I just speak about how I've experienced it.

 

^^ i dont think that it totally has to do with you danny. its just the overflow of new threads being posted in general.

I for one do not go to any of these dealers, just the ones closest to me and convenient for my needs. both performace and WCN are too damn far for me. And yes, no matter how much you like one dealership to another, its all about the customer service that is provided along with decent pricing.

Also, dragging one's name in the dirt does not get you more or less service it makes you look like an as5hole; its the way you handle the negative posts and publicity that shows your true customer service and professionalism standards.
