has anyone heard or seen this kind of conversion before?? i would like to know if there are any shop who can do this locally.

That is one of the members car here on my350z.com. I believe he lives in the bay area in california. I have seen his car at the TI meet and it looks very clean and different. I forgot his name though. Try asking in the Northern California forum.

I think he did a write up on how he did or something. Do a search in the exterior section for headlight and he will come up.

looks pretty gnarley. it's been a long while since i've seen a q45... looks good to see someone mod them into their lights, custom is the way to go!
