Exclamation Rowland Heights Area Beware

As I reported last week, the Walnut Sheriffs are now using LIDAR binoculars.

This AM they are out in full force pulling cars over coming down Diamond Bar Bl/Brea Canyon Cutoff, all along Fairway between Colima and Valley, and Fairway/Teodoro east along Valley.

I saw 7 cars get pulled over within 30minutes.

Sheriffs are hiding:

A) in the Carl's Jr parking lot at Fairway (viewing cars through the drivethru towards the exit ramp)

B) In the lower school parking lot (Brea Canyon Cutoff before Colima) - LIDAR, no V1 beeps

C) Up Teodoro (which is the street Fairway turns into on the other side of Valley) watching for speeders and right turn on reds.

D) At least 2 cars are running Valley back and forth east of Fairway.

I think i saw a CHP using one of these the other day... It was wierd because i've never seen an officer positioned the way he was. Normally they try to hide in shadows and stuff but this guy was just parked on the side of the 91E wide out in the open holding up this honking piece of ...whatever it was. By his stance it was pretty obvious it was some sort of speed monitoring device but it was MUCH larger then the normal laser guns.

Yes. As opposed to radar, it can pinpoint a target rather than a wide array of targets.
