Default so cal peeps do i need more brake fluid?

yesterday i was forced to do some hard braking to avoid a accident.. in doing so i noticed a minor noise like my ebrake was enabling also i saw my break light turn on.. is this normal?

just checked my brake fluid level.. its a little bit above the min line but not really close to the max.. do i need to add more? if so what kind?

i have attached some pictures if anyone could compare it with theres that would be great :]

p.s. this is on a g35 but im sure its the same as the Z's

Sounds like you might need to top it off. Fill it up to the MAX line with any DOT3 fluid.

Your not suppose to add brake fluid. The noise you're hearing is probably the brake pad sensor touching the rotor. When you replace the brakes and push back the piston the fluid should come back up.

my brake pads on the front and rear are fairly new.. is it normal for the brake indicator to light up under heavy braking? it almost felt like the ebrake turned on to help me stop.. i know it sounds stupid -_-

Fill it up , when you replace the pads, just crack the bleed port before you push the piston in. This also help you keep fresh/fresher fluid in the caliper.

I had gotten this as well. The Brake light just blinking on and off. However my brakes are fine, my fluid I topped off last week when it first did it. Any suggestions?
