Mechanic recommendation in LA
I have on oil leak on my G35 that I cant seem to figure out where its coming from. Replaced the oilpan gasket and a few hoses but its still leaking. Can anyone recommend a mechanic in the LA area?

I am not under warranty anymore, we have 96K miles on the car so Im pretty sure it ended a while ago.
What up Ted... Long time no see.
Where do you see the most 'cake' build up under the car? If you have been under your car to change the items you mentioned previously, then you'll see an area with the most concentration.
From the things you have replaced, I'm willing to gamble that you'll find a buildup after the block? Say where the block connects with the tranny? Your O2 sensors wires, under brace and cats should be dirty with oil residue? If so, then it's probably your main seal.
However, this is just an assumption. A bit more description of the leak would help, but nothing beats an actual inspection, know what I mean.

Sorry... no I don't. You know I do all the work on all my cars, so I wouldn't know who else to trust. The only other thing I would advise is having WesCo Nissan diagnose/pin-point the leak. At that point you decide if it's something you can handle over a weekend or should it be sent to mechanic shop.
GL.
if the oil leak is coming from your pan, use some RTV black. There is a cure time before you are allowed to fill the pan with oil.
