I need a weekend to recover from last weekend. But, I'm going to be MIA from June through July. So, I would like to schedule an August weekend meet.

Possiblities include the Bay area, Monterey, San Diego or anywhere else. Alternatively, we can do another Friday or Saturday club night, beach day or canyon run. Or, we can do a Disneyland, Seaworld/Animal Park or other attraction.

August 2-3, 9-10, 16-17, 23-24 or 30-31 are all good.

Please post suggestions.

I was going to try to set up the Dromo One meet either late July or in early August.
Vegas sounds good but I will be going in July and probably over Labor Day weekend
But Vegas is always good.. well except this last time cause I couldn't go =P

 

I think I'm going to need 6 months to recover from this last VEGAS meet.

ADMAN I'll be back up for SEMA so maybe we can meet up then and chat... I only saw ya for like 10 minutes at the Suite.

Gathered what you and your wife did and that's about it.

I say we do SF/Bay Area in August. That way John and Dick the Man can go. Plus I heard that the strip clubs up there are the bomb!!!! Anyways, just a thought. Or we can do a Reno/Lake Tahoe trip. Rent a cabin and hit up the casinos and the lake. Okay...I'm thinking if we go far people will have to take days off. So we have two months. Lets get some ideas out.

 

I concur we should do SF area.

However if we go to Lake Tahoe... That's far from SF...

And you will missing out on some stuff in SF... But then you have more places for import with white chicks...

Hey dude... I think there is a palomar run down in SD. Also there is the Stillen event... As well as the Fast and Furious 2 event and I think some people are goign to the Grand AM event on Saturday.

So there is a lot of sh*t going on however I dont' think everyone will be together.

 

Okay first things first, I want the August event to be off the hook!!! That means an event that will top the Vegas event. This doesn't mean that we cant have our one day get togethers in between(i.e. runs, dromo, clubs, BBQ's, etc.). Just that this event will be one that requires planning in advance, money, and maybe some time off work. That is why we should plan this now. The Vegas trip was planned over two months in advance, so this is just about the right time to plan an August event.


Okay, so it looks like the choices are:

1) SF/Bay Area
2) Tahoe/Reno
3) Vegas again

I personally think Tahoe/Reno trip would be the bomb. We could get a big cabin by the lake that we could all crash at and play on the water. Then at night we can hit up Reno or the local casinos. A nice mix a relaxing, gambling, and partying. Theres something for everyone. What do you guys think?

Also, two months is a good amount of time to have a couple of what I call "icebreaker" events for those who have never hung out with us so they wont feel intimidated about going on a big trip with people they never met.

 

Import- If you guys cruise up here to San Fran we'll show you a good time. North Beach has a sh*tload of bars and strip clubs- and there are more nice night clubs than you can count scattered thorughout the city.
If you guys decide to make a Tahoe/Reno run let us NoCal guys know. I'm sure there are a few of us who would beinterested in making the trip with you guys.

Hmmm....yes, SF is a definite possiblity too. Bubu said there are some good spots up in the city. I'm down for anything...even Vegas again. Lets get some votes out there.

 

I like the Reno/Tahoe trip idea. More gambling!! But, I also like the SF area. Really love that town, lots to do and if someone like Failsafe or some of the other No. Cal. dudes can show us the hot spots, we should have a lot of fun. Cabin & lake sound fun. But so does more clubs and night outs.

I want to hear what the girls want. Usually speaking, if the women are happy, the men will be too.

 

I might have a hard time getting any time off after august until x-mas time.
But plan what you guys want to do, and if I can make it, I will. If I can't, I'll just sit at home and pout instead.
