That was a great run! I was afraid that the fog might not clear up but, like everyone said, I'm glad it burnt off as we got to higher elevation.

Alang,
Sorry about your wheel. I hate rocks and uneven pavements! If you don't find any reputable shop to repair your rim, try TRU WHEEL. They repair hard to repair wheels and 3 piece wheels. Here is their website. http://www.truwheel.com/

Zeeing,
It was nice caravaning down there once again.

Snoop,
Glad you could join us. You were lookin lil red but hope everything is alrite.

spacemanspiff,
Hey, where did you learn to drive like that!? You got skillz. BTW, see above for your "head stickin out the sunroof pic"!

ZMAN23,
That was lots o' fun, eh!

John (Subaru WRX),
If you've joined up on this forum, come join our cayon runs again! More the merrier!

I've done a little checking, but it seems that to repair this rim will probably exceed my $500 deductable, so I'm contacting my insurance tomorrow to see how to file a claim. I've had the same guy for 10 years, and have never had a problem. So I'll probably have a new rim soon and be back at the roads with you guys.

Yes we regret Alang’s incident and let us hope the damage is not too costly.
Alang, again we thank you for leading us to the mountain, and may you take us to the top next time.

This run has to rank as the best overall so far. We had plenty of open roads and great run management.

Spacemanspiff, great job filling in for Alang. I would be honored to be your wingman any time. That was some very efficient and smooth driving.

I think the overcast weather helped to keep the "Sunny Sunday Drivers" away. The best part about it is that it turn out to be a beautiful day after about 10:00 AM.

SilvrZ, great ride getting there, and the conversation was good also. It was nice meeting the two Johns, and Snoopy I hope you are OK.

Tom, Jeff and all the others, sorry you could not make it, maybe next time.

I'm for Palomar anytime! For now let us say that the Palomar series stands Mountain = 0 Zs = 3.

Default Jon-WRX owner!

What's up guys? I found you (again)!

Gotta thank you all again for taking me on one of the best drives I have ever done in my WRX. Great weather, little traffic, nice cars with good drivers, and Buffalo burgers!. Couldn't have asked for more. You guys really were professionals out there with the radios and all.

Looking forward to the next run already.

Jon

Yikes, I really did sunburn my forehead! Had to put Aloe Vera on it last night and this morning...feels like a heat wave from my face. Guess I gotta put on sunscreen when driving up Palomar and the sunroof open the entire time. OWWW!!!

Thanks to all again for a great run!
