^I think it's best not to post links to that site.

Again, if you want to run the 243, just meet near the beginning of the road...somewhere off the 10. I'd go, but I don't know what the deal with this "cruise" business is. You can have a quick drive with faster drivers up front and people who just want to cruise near the back.

This cruise is meant for driving enthusiasts who respect their abilities enough to leave them to the track. We are starting from ortega for a reason. Im setting it up because, well, it's easier for me. I would have to go through this anyway.
Also, i will not wait for people unless there is a legidiment reason. Driving slow, flat tires, engine trouble, etc. are all legidiment. Waiting for ding dongs at the convenient store dosn't work, nor does running out of gas. Things like this could be prevented if by the driver, and are therefore the driver's responsibility. I recommend drivers to fuel up before reaching It's a Grind, and then again at the stop at farmer boy's, even if you still have more than half a tank. after the 243, you can follow me through the 74, in which imgoing to fill up before i go through again (at the same gas station probably).
Im going to go through a breifing when we meet up at Its a Grind.

the deal with this "cruise" business is that he's emphasizing that it's a cruise. i think he makes it pretty clear that it's not a run.

I am planning a "run" the day after.
We have rented SOW race course. Therefore we can go as fast as we want LEGALLY. ( just dont forget to slow down for the corners)

I am hoping that this stays as a cruise. A cruise is for car enthusiasts.

A 'run' is for wannabe's who cant drive, but think they can. Then they crash and make my in$urance more expensive. (yes, we all pay for their mistakes.)

Call me a wannabe if you'd like, but a "run" can be good, safe, responsible fun. It's probably semantics, but a run doesn't mean driving all out at 10/10ths. The car enthusiasts that I hang out with go on runs. But anyway, have fun.

Oh and I remember you taking donations for your RX7 buddy. I probably wouldn't want to go on a run after that either.

People need to be aware of their limits regardless of whether you want to call the drive a run or a cruise.

^^ Funny you should mention that. Jan is the 2nd annual memorial run.
They discovered the cause too, long story, but he was at the wrong place at the wrong time.

Thants cool. I hope that the participants will be able to keep their cool. I dont want any Z drivers to act stupid and race the mr2 peoples. Ill double check with the group before we go.

Only about 17 days before the cruise!

No worries on the MR2 people. They are slow and they know it. Usually they request to be in the back so they can cruise it slow, lookin good. They are in it for the scenery.

I am supposed to have my new tires by then. I also just ordered a new set of spark plugs. Damn those things are expensive.
