Hey I know it's kind of corny and I was totally against the whole guitar hero thing, but I played it at a friend's house and then found it to be quite cool. I just bought one today for my Nintendo Wii.

Any of you out there play at all??? Guitar Hero that is...

I understand this may be a controversial subject and some bashing by some may come forth, so I've got the flame suit unpacked and ready to go!

 

here's a bash from nor cal hahaha... my complaint with it is that if these kids took half the time to learn real guitar as they do playing that game, we could have some damn good guitarists up and coming!!! not too terrible of a game tho, i guess...

I've been playing GHII on 360 lately. I basically played through it on Easy and then on Medium just played enough to be able to buy the Shadows Fall:Light that Blinds song. I mostly just play that one tune now lol. But it's such a blast!

trying to get use to playing on HARD.. and yea it aint a walk in da park


and wut really trips me out are sum kids dat are only 8 or 10 can play on expert "DRAGONFORCE"!! friggn insane

 

that Muse song on hard mode is difficult...alot harder than part 2

 

anyone out there seen the south park eposide where they make fun of guitar hero? thats an awesome episode!

I haven't opened the box yet to start playing but it should be rpetty cool from what everyone says about it!

I stopped playing in the middle of GHII Expert tour....I just couldn't keep up with certain songs...and I've been playing guitar for 15 years

 

Been playing for a while. havent picked it up much and played since i 5 starred all of GHII on expert. Ill probably pick up #3 in a couple a months once its no longer popular cuz that seems to be what happens with me and video games.

 

you 5 starred GHII all songs on expert???? Holy hell you must be pretty damn good!

I finally cracked it open today and I'm loving it! Would be nice if they started taking polls for songs for the next installment, I could think of lots of songs that would be awesome to play on this game or when GH4 comes out someday

 

Guitar Hero is awesome, but what's more awesome is DJ Max Portable 2 for PSP THAT GAME RULES! It's hella hard though.

 

LOL. well when you play like 3 hours a day for a couple months straight you start to pick it up pretty quick. 5 starring everything on hard took a little while but once you can 5 star all hard the expert isnt really that much harder, just more complex note patterns.

I play the guitar to so my hand strength and agility is higher than your average persons.
