^ yeah +1

I was lucky that the officer who inspected my car was a lady officer who did not know that much about the car.

stock with HFCs were little loud but I said because it's in the morning and I have an intake which habd CARB aproved(JWT)

she was like I'll sigh this off but you might get pull over for being lilttle loud.

I did not give a ****. I'm done with my ticket and ready to put back my HKS@!!!!!

ok I did not want to risk anything so i just put the stock exhaust back on.
And then i went to the inspection (right next to the court metropolian(?) on the
hill street)

But the officer told me that they do not check exhaust anymore <wtf!!!>
and told me to call the referee and get the inspection from somewhere eles....
(I booked my appointment at Fullerton junior college)
what i am worry about is that even i have stock exhaust i have kinetix aftermarket race cat ...will it pass? i mean...

Do they smog check? what do they check ?

You're done.
Step 8: Do not drive directly to get ticket signed off, unless you want a DUI instead of exhaust ticket.

unless your buddy has test pipes or HFC's, he got pulled over for having the quietest exhaust made for the g35! I have a greddy evo 2 and the stock exhaust is louder at low rpms, its not even that loud at WOT.

If you just have a cat-back stillen, you should be within the limits here in Cali. I have known several people who have fought it. Problem is that YOU have to pay for the sound test. But after you get the sound test, they will give you a little sticker for your underhood that specifies that particular exhaust. So if you ever get pulled over again . . . you are covered
Sound tests are free at the CA referee, and sound tests from the REF are just about the only thing that judges take these days. If the stillen system is supposed to be under the limit, then go get it tested, get a printout, then get the ticket thrown out when you present it to the judge.

Actually step 8 should have been, invite some hot girls over and have a wet t-shirt contest. Winner gets to throw jello on all the girls. Girls + jello = What Z? lol

You are obviously not capable of fully processing what you read. You missed this part of what badkarma85 said:

Now looking up the law that badkarma85 has so graciously already provided us the statute for:

http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/18...1----000-.html
§ 1621. Perjury generally

Whoever—
(1) having taken an oath before a competent tribunal, officer, or person, in any case in which a law of the United States authorizes an oath to be administered, that he will testify, declare, depose, or certify truly, or that any written testimony, declaration, deposition, or certificate by him subscribed, is true, willfully and contrary to such oath states or subscribes any material matter which he does not believe to be true; or

(2) in any declaration, certificate, verification, or statement under penalty of perjury as permitted under section 1746 of title 28, United States Code, willfully subscribes as true any material matter which he does not believe to be true;
is guilty of perjury and shall, except as otherwise expressly provided by law, be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than five years, or both. This section is applicable whether the statement or subscription is made within or without the United States.
Reading comprehension for the win!

As i was trying to get my ticket signed off I went to lbpd, sheriffs station, chp and all of them gave me the run around. I finally took it to a chp station in torrence and the dude signed it off in like mins. he also said if it was him issuing the ticket he would of gave me more for having defective smog equipment. Some cops r a**holes. Dont know why im going to school to be one....

I went through this with my integra when i had it. If you get a exhaust ticket, whether or not its modified or to loud. They will send you to state referree, (fullerton college) They have to test the dbi which is 95, at different RPMS, and then they will test if the exhaust is polluting (sc), and if you have test pipes high flow cats ANTYTHING but the stock cats, it will not pass. Even if your CEL is not on. It wont pass, IMO go to a shop, get the stock cats put on, and go to the state referree pass it and be on your way. You guys are making me nervous! i JUST bought the Greddy Evo TT true dual exhaust, i dont wanna get pulled over i live in fullerton lol

My buddy had a black Golf. My "other buddy" had a black Golf. They switched lic. plates and the one that had a fix it ticket for tinted windows got it signed off without anyone knowing any better. That was in Huntington. It worked fine, but they obviously did not check VINs. It could work, but if it fails, I don't know what the penalty is, but it could be pretty bad I am sure.
