Just talked to westco about my slave cylinder recall.. but unfortunately they said My car has to be there a few days because they need to order the part. I asked if they could just order it because my car is a daily driver and they said it is not possible because they need to verify it.. BLEH. What's there to verify? Whatever.. I'll take it back when they get more parts or go to performance.

 

the only thing they should have to verify is your VIN. If it's been serviced there before then they should be able to just order it for you. I guess i could be wrong though...

anyways, call them back and see if you can get a rental. It's a recal so Nissan N/A should be able to provide that for you.

 

There's no reason you should have to leave the car for a few days.

I was planning on going to westco for the recall, but I want to drop it off first thing in the morning and pick it up that night or the next morning at the latest.
